Surge wave generators are, like reflectometers, an essential component of the cable fault location process. They are used for both prelocation and pinpointing.

The surge wave generator SWG 1750 is a modular, variable solution available in multiple configurations. Due to its size and power, the SWG 1750 is primarily installed in fault locations systems.
